Contributors can post news of publications of their novel, reviews, segments.

Here is where people can write about Taos and let the world know what a fabulous community of writers we are.

This is a section of the website where members can contribute.  Until “proven” reliable member posts will not be published until they are approved by the administrator of this site (presently that is Hannah Rappaport).  There are categories which members can identify their work by.  If Joni Doe-eyes, Taos nature writer, has a flock of a following, they will find her here under Non-Fiction.  They will also find SOMOS.  If someone from Kansas wants to know what playwrights in Taos are up to, they will find out by clicking that category.

Songwriters can use this venue to post lyrics, mp3 sounds, and links to their MySpace or other sites.  They can connect with poets who might want to put music to their words, find other songwriters to perhaps form songwriting partnerships.  They can invite members to upcoming events.

Playwrights have a venue here to notify the membership of upcoming plays in the area, give synopses, critique recent stagings, call for readers, etc.

New Mexico is becoming a state where movies are made.  Here is a venue for writers of screenplays to discuss  ideas, seek readers for critique, look for writing partners, appeal to the membership for contacts, development, etc.

Writings about our beautiful natural environment abound.  Here is a venue for our members to share short essays and insights about frogs and snow and elk and acequias.

Members can post segments of their novels and short stories to share and ask for comments if so desired.  This could even become an avenue to discuss craft.  SOMOS began as a group of writers who got together to read their work to one another.  This site takes that idea to cyberspace and the 21st Century.  There are two subcategories here, novels and short stories.

The subcategories that pop up here are Nature and Local Color.  Members can choose which category best suits their post.

This is where member contributors can post a poem.  They will submit work to be approved by the administrator (presently Hannah Rappaport)  In this section there will be a category that is their name.
